Hello and Welcome to James Stoker and Norman Kitchens North East Railpics...
We update this site whenever we can and we try our best to improve our photography.
We both live in the North East of England...
James first started railway photography in 2000, but Norman has been a photographer for longer.
We have been taking photographs using the cameras listed below…
Camera Equipment Used ;
Fuji Finepix S9600 9.0mp
Fuji Finepix S5600 5.0mp
Panasonic DMC-FZ7 6.0mp
Sony DSC-H2 6.0mp
Olympus SP550UZ 8.0mp
NOTE: The three cameras after the Fuji ones are Norman’s…
We have taken a lot of different locomotives and traction, including; HST’s, Heritage Traction, Railtours, Diesel / Steam Galas, Freight Trains, Passenger Trains… and so on.
We travel to Different areas around the United Kingdom, but mainly our photographs are taken from the North East and Yorkshire. We also enjoy going to new places, but we always visit our favourite stations and locations.
The comment system is back up, but please can we have no daft comments from small minded idiots!! These are moderated, and are removed before even being shown to the public!
Please feel free to leave any questions about the locations of our photographs, you can do this via the 'Leave A Message' / Comment facility...
Or if you wish to use any photographs for a publication or magazine please contact us using the email address below…
Thanks go to the people who keep us informed on movements (you know who you are)... Thanks also go to John Lonsdale, who has been great as he gives us lifts to different places, and often makes a boring day pass with a few laughs...
Thanks from James Stoker & Norman Kitchen
